They are also going to require gas stations that renovate to add in at least 2x e-charging ports. Chock this one up to yet another "stupid solutions to problems that don't exist". As density increases in the area since Polis wants to change a whole hell of a lot of the Denver Metro into anything but R1 housing, more people will just have to drive further to get the fuel they need.

On top of that, this is basically creating a government supported monopoly in which the owner(s) of these 4-5 gas stations will be guaranteed that they will never have competition again inside city limits. New stations will just be built right outside the cities limits, which in some cases are still "in town" and just across the street.

Stop making laws based on misguided virtue signaling bs.
