They should not be surprised. They were "shooting" at cars at night in an area of the Denver Metro that is well known for people randomly shooting real guns at random cars/people.

Yeah, it seems like those kids learned a valuable lesson on the cheap. It could have been a lot worse for them. Also, if they are unsure if it was a pellet gun or a real gun then it was a pellet gun. The damage is totally different.

Sounds like some parents were too busy on FakeBook or Instagram to notice their children doing something very dangerous. Next thing you know their children will be playing with matches and burning the house down.
