The worst part of legalized pot was all the loser druggies who moved here. Homeless beggars quadrupled in the year after.
We have that in Austin and they are almost all from Commiefornia. I used to not have an issues with weed from an agricultural standpoint but it is now obvious that legalizing degenerates, downgrades, and decays...

Homelessness was a problem well before legal weed.
Did liquor stores also have the same effect?
The fact that this was a haven for weed seekers increased our homeless problem because other states didn’t legalize at the time. And yes, alcoholism is the most common addiction that leads to homelessness. People turn to drugs to cope, we need to address the underlying problems, but that’s too difficult, because it is the root of society’s problems and is HUGE.
I agree, it’s only hastened the stit-holification of our once great state.
