I call it a Tea Party when I see someone or myself trying to pour a cup of coffee but unbeknownst to us the carafe is empty. So it looks like someone pouring a big cup of nothing with anticipation on their face similar to little girls pouring an empty pot of tea. Unlike the little girl, the failure to fill the cup brings much to be desired.
