They already tried this in other cities/sates. Uber just said they were going to massively decrease or discontinue service entirely, Lyft said the same thing. Its amazing how easy it is for them to just exit a market if they want. They just stop accepting any rides/requests/etc in the are and close or disable the accounts of anyone in the area. They could pull the plug in 5 minutes if they wanted. I wonder how much the taxi lobby paid for this and how much they get paid per hour...
