Criminals have voided the social contract. They do not have the right to privacy. Also, your front porch is considered a public space if not fenced in without not trespassing signs. Therefore, they have no expectations of privacy.

They probably should have defended themselves from state violence during that convoy. Instead the zogbots now know that they can get away with whatever they want.

If citizens wouldn't band together at a freedom convoy your neighbors sure as shit won't leave their house to help you when you get hauled away.

Provincial police (SQ) are urging Quebecers not to post the clips online because they say there could be a case for defamation.

"You cannot post the images yourself because you have to remember, in Canada, we have a presumption of innocence and posting that picture could be a violation of private life," said SQ communications officer Lt. Benoit Richard.

Instead, Richard said to call 911 if anything was stolen.

"If you get some proof that somebody might have stolen something, call the police, give that proof to the police," he said. "We'll do the investigation, bring that person to justice and file some charges."

So am I permitted to re-post Officer Dickenmouth's video making himself look like an asshole, or would that violate his right to not look like an asshole?

As ridiculous as it is what he is saying checks out for the province of Quebec. A guide to Canadian photography laws (cippic.ca) says this about distributing identifiable images of a person in Quebec:

In Quebec, privacy is protected by a person's “right to respect for his private life” under the Quebec Charter.

I don’t know if that means the thief would have to sue you, or the police could charge you. It sounds like the latter.

The police would have to be dicks to charge someone because of this. The question is, are the Quebec police warning us that a porch thief might press charges, or are they warning us that the police might?

I doubt there is a case for defamation though. You’re not lying and saying the person robbed your property, you’re posting video evidence of it.

Yea, zog has gone full retarded. Although what happens when the individual steps onto (your) private property to walk away with your belongings ?/

And then isnt msm doing the very same thing using footage of trucker/ holo-cov/ anti trans protests to dox / identify participants for the cops to levy fines / charge or to set the gaylords against?.
