Correct. You do not want to ever get involved in any government program. The minute you agree to take money from them, for any reason, opens you up for extortion and unintended consequences. Look at schools that take federal funds. Now they're beholden to the government for money, because you know the schools get hooked on that crack and they can't seem to get off. The state I live in has a fucking asshole governor who constantly is applying for federal funds. He comes up with all kinds of excuses for why we need the money. Fortunately, other state legislatures deny the request, but it's only a matter of time before they cave in.
