“Guaranteed income programs help level the playing field and will give these former foster youth the support and resources they need to pursue their California dream,” said California governor Gavin Newsom.

Then show me the data where giving free money to an underclass worked, meaning lifted them out of poverty and into the middle class.

From the data I've seen, government redistribution of wealth without work leads to generational poverty and dependence on the state.

We called it "welfare" and "ghetto" back in my day, son.

If something is free and plentiful, it also becomes worthless.

“Guaranteed income programs help level the playing field and will give these former foster youth the support and resources they need to pursue their California dream,” said California governor Gavin Newsom.

The only thing this type of program fosters is dependency on the state. (Which is the real goal.)

I was born and raised in CA. When I left in the early 2010s, the middle class was no longer a thing. There were 3 classes of people.

  1. People who had bought land prior to the 80s and had shared and passed it to family members so their cost of living was just utilities.

  2. The super rich who came in, bought land, plowed the house, and rebuilt it using "tax credits" to build these green shit places that are an eye sore.

  3. The people who bought or rent a plot 0f land, and then live 3-5 generations of family in said location. Between the 15-25 people living there, the cost of living was mitigated. This was, by and large, Mexican and Asian families. My next door neighbor's whom I grew up with on both sides both sacrificed their back yards to place living spaces and parking lots in their back yards so their kids, now grown, could have a place for THIER kids while the parents were now the retired monarchs in the main house.

It's beginning to become like this in almost all other blue states I have watched as well. It's sickening.

Unbelievable. The ultra rich playing monopoly. Except they don't go to jail, the White man does.

Meanwhile there is a grant to put an addition your house so you can house illegals ...

Awesome! I'm signing right up for that!

You were probably being facetious, I was worried about the strings attached so I aborted the consult.

Correct. You do not want to ever get involved in any government program. The minute you agree to take money from them, for any reason, opens you up for extortion and unintended consequences. Look at schools that take federal funds. Now they're beholden to the government for money, because you know the schools get hooked on that crack and they can't seem to get off. The state I live in has a fucking asshole governor who constantly is applying for federal funds. He comes up with all kinds of excuses for why we need the money. Fortunately, other state legislatures deny the request, but it's only a matter of time before they cave in.

I wouldn't call California poor. It's more like it's broke as a result of spending too much. Nigger-filled Mississippi is the poorest state. If you mean full of poor people, well, I guess that's going to happen when you're giving away the most free shit.

I was thinking about your comment. I agree. California is hardly poor, but it's broke. So where is all this money going to come from?

[–] 1 pt

Borrowing and borrowing and more borrowing... from Jews

[–] 1 pt

I'm absolutely certain they'll spend that money on basic needs and not drugs and sheeeeeit. BWAAAHAHAHAHA!
