They did it on purpose, they want to build a new HQ and this way they can donate the old one (easier and faster than selling) for bloated value (massive tax write off), buy a new spot and build a larger headquarters while playing king of the virtue signaler with their big do good act.

They should give all the corporate profits as well from the cows that grazed the land and the ice cream that was made from that milk. I won't be holding my breath waiting for them to give up one shekel.
