This is why you go local-only. I know not everyone has the skill to set it up but it has gotten so easy to do the basic things (lights/window or door sensors)etc there is little excuse if you value the ability to control the things that YOU OWN.
Agreed. tutorial would be great or recommendations to help people get started on a project like this. Poal has lots of creative bright people and it would be great to share that knowledge around
Ok, I think I'm allowed to make subs now. I'll get started on something. I've been meaning to get back into that sort of thing.
It's not hard there are just a lot of pieces.
What type of format do you like for tutorials. I always hate searching for something to find the only tutorial is a video. I prefer text with images if necessary.
