Part of the problem is the twisted way the laws work. Employees calling the cops themselves instead of letting management do it are risking giving the criminals technicalities they can sue the store for, as they just got accused of a crime without a trial or some such horseshit. You're supposed to notify management who notifies police who do a follow up and arrest the perps(in theory). It's all stupid and the hoops you have to jump through are purely there to fatten the wallets of jewish lawyers on both sides and make it harder to arrest and punish obvious lawbreakers(they're on fucking video trashing the store for crying out loud). The laws are absolutely real however and corporations get sued constantly because of this I'm afraid, so yeah you're told never to call the cops yourself or get involved in any way. You're point blank told to run away at light speed if you EVER feel threatened. I absolutely LOATHE ever having to give corporations credit for anything but on this one they've actually got a gun to their head.
