If you look at the way those kids are moving and holding thier fist it is clear they are not actually trained to fight even in the most basic sense. They are extremely awkward, can't make a proper fist. Etc. This is most likely a pep rally thing. It would literally take 1 adult 10 minutes to demonstrate a proper pose to everyone, and even that wasn't done.
