Long story short, I once tricked a woman's book club into reading 1984 at hight of covid.
Sadly, none of them took anything away from it. To this day they all wear masks and are triple or quadriple vaccinated, and they all watch the msm as their heads bob up and down on puppet strings.
During their zoom call, there was only one lady who was very perturbed by Orwell 1984 - but her lone dissenting concern was completely drowned out.
