He could face a $10K fine and up to 5 years jail sentence.
I'd be happy with a felony conviction on his record and no other punishment. This ensures he gets punished next time he does it. He's going to get let off with probation at worst. They'll say he's had a hard life and suffered a lot of discrimination.
I've always wondered how many bags are outright stolen. It's good to know that they keep an eye on that kind of stuff. I always hustle to the baggage claim and my bag has been modified to be very distinctive and recognizable from a distance.
But stealing is an accident and in 🤡 🌎 this passes as a female so it'll get a pussy pass.
