The funny thing with new comers in thai boxing, me included when I started, is that they never move on a low kick, like they just take it and then nothing at all, there's not even an attempt at avoiding it

Then of course after the 5th low kick or so, they end up with a barely usable lead leg, for obvious reasons. And that's only after that particularly painful experience, and a couple of weeks of training, that they begin to start considering doing something about the low kick, like switching legs/guard or stepping back, or simply raising the knee

It's a rather long process, it's idiotic but it's like that, it takes time for most people to finally start doing what's in the end just necessary, and evident. Move.

And italian or europeans aren't exceptions, so... https://pic8.co/sh/Qrdqx0.jpeg They will insist on using electric cars yes, until they no longer can, that's all. And then they'll learn, eventually
