Back during the period of American Revolution, the most powerful, well trained, disciplined, well armed and equipped, battle hardened army on the planet sent an entire regiment of Redcoats across the river at Harpers Ferry, and up into the mountains, laurel thickets and hollows of what would later become West Virginia, as an overwhelming show of force in order to cow the rustics in the area and remind them of their place. At full strength, a British Army Regiment at that time would have numbered approximately 480 Officers, NCOs and soldiers, plus attachments.
You know what happened to them?
Well, of course you don't. Nobody does. Because not even one single man made it back out alive to tell the tale of what had happened to them.

I recommend that if the us.gov decides to go full tyranny, there are a lot of areas that they should only send people that they don't like. People that they wouldn't mind never seeing again. Because there's a better than even chance they won't. Because the ones they hate most will join our side, and the others, like the Redcoats before them, will simply vanish into the night and fog. Bugs are also God's creatures. They gotta eat. Same as worms.
