Same. Here in Oregon they are constantly cluttering the trails with their overloaded bags of snacks, cats on a leash, and heavy breathing.

I call those walks, but ao many people say going for a hike. If it's within city limits, it not a hike (usually)

REI is annoying. They carry some brands I like so I stop in occasionally. The people that shop there are still overwhelmingly wearing masks. Pretentious sobs.

Well, REI also hates guns, stopped buying products from companies that also manufactured firearms or firearm parts, and their CEO wrote a public letter to his employees notifying them that Trump is a racist, anti-woman, and that REI was against the immigration orders.

So yeah, if you didn't already go through the steps to remove yourself from the REI co-op, I don't know what to tell ya.

I quit buying from REI at all when they banned Giro, Camelback, Bell and some other top brands that were under a company, Vista Outdoors, which owned a company that made gun products (Savage Arms). Fuck REI. FUCK EM.

I haven't been to an REI for quite a while, but if this follows the usual sequence of business trying to pamder to the wrong crowd... It's probably gonna start stocking the wrong gear and then go broke.
