It's nice to know that the Chinese are still crazier than we are. Because this story makes no rational sense at all.

They locked down a store, because one customer at the store had been in contact with a kid who tested positive for Covid but had no symptoms?

The Ikea store's sudden shutdown was ordered because a close contact of a six-year-old boy who tested positive after returning to Shanghai from Lhasa in Tibet had visited, Shanghai Health Commission deputy director Zhao Dandan said on Sunday.

He did not say when the close contact was believed to have been at the store.

I mean, what the everloving fuck? Some guy, who was near some kid who tested positive but had no symptoms, goes to a store, so the Chinese government locks down the store? After he left? Or was he still in the store? How did the government know he was in the store, or that he's been close to the kid? Do they monitor everyone's every movement?

What a joke. Why aren't the Chinese people tearing down government buildings and setting these despots on fire? I mean, how fucking passive can you be? To let them lock you up on a building for two days, because some guy wandered through at some time in the past, who may have been near some kid, who may have had a case of Covid, with no symptoms?

Controlled comfortability: the government gives the peope what they've conditioned them to believe they need in order to control ever aspect of their lives.

When that's taken away the conditioned chinx are mad that they don't have what the government conditioned them to believe what they need.

Out comes the carrot on a stick with a hoop to jump through to obtain what the chinx think they need.

Sound familiar? It should.
