Almost all shows contain unlikeable female protagonists. I'll go further, and say that almost none of the characters in today's movies or drama series are likeable. I wouldn't want to know any of them, or even be around them. It's impossible for me to care what happens to them. My theory as to why there are so many unlikeable characters in movies and television series is that the people who make these movies and series are unlikeable, and everyone around them is unlikeable, so they mistakenly believe it is normality. They can't even imagine a likeable human being. To them such a person would seem artificial and false. This is why all the characters they create are such useless, spiteful, hateful human beings.
