Don't we already have that? I'm thinking about the "hikikomori" in Japan. Here we call them neets or shut ins. Severly depressed people. Or people with autism who can't read faces of others, regardless if they grew up with masks. Given that people joke about weaponized autism, possibly a few of them here.
