Another scam I've noticed is both Ford and Chevy in their commercials are telling people to "reserve your EV now". When I inquired about that turns out you can't walk onto any lot and buy one of these shitty EVs. You might even have to drive to another state to test drive one since not enough are available for all dealerships. And theirs no negotiation on the price. You pay the sticker price and often a "premium" over sticker.
Fuck EVs.
Yet again, thousands of jobs lost for no good reason, but because of insane policies by the Democrats. This is happening over and over and over.
And those are just the jobs lost at Ford. That's not counting the jobs lost at parts suppliers and manufacturers.
My dealership built a massive new store right before covid. They have zero vehicles, lost 3 mechanics last week who saw the writing on the wall and can't find anyone to work there. Cut store hours to Monday to Friday 9 - 5 only. They're barely surviving and what is Ford doing about it? Sending me emails to go test drive a new truck.
