What she puts in her mouth doesnt seem to be moving - fake bugs? The dish view looks crawling and lively, but fakes could easily be positioned for her to grab with chop sticks. Great acting if she's eating real bugs without an involuntary puke contraction. Either she's practiced to overcome the natural involuntary repulsion or they are fake bugs. I've seen baskets of fried grasshoppers and other bugs for sale at hocker stands in Asia, none for me thanks.

Back when I was a kid there was a cool toy called the Mattel ThingMaker. Awesome toy. It used aluminum preformed plates that you filled with ThingMaker Goop, slide it into the curing oven for a few minutes until the Goop had hardened into a soft plastic. Bottles of Goop came in different colors, even glow in the dark goop. Make bugs, skeletons, skulls, neat stuff for prankster preteens at the time. Make your own plastic bugs, scare the girls, laugh like hell. They had plates for all kinds of stuff, both boys and girls had Mattel ThingMakers.

Hugely successful toy. Then the brains at Mattel came up with Incredible Edibles. Now you could make bugs and things, paint them and eat them. Tasted like plastic, very artificial and I'm sure wasn't good for kids to eat.

Thing maker was so fun. You could make some really cool bugs with that thing and burn the shit out of yourself at the same time! Vaccu-form was another brilliant toy similar to thing maker.
