Sounds like some retard installed a 120V charger for his Tesla. If he had hired a competent electrician they would have installed a 50A 240V Level 2 charger and adding 10% would take 28 minutes.

If you knew what you were doing you would know that 2.5 hours of 50A at 240V is 30 kWh and that the car didn't have a 300 kWh battery.
