Some people did that and if I remember PA(back in the 90s) used to be super strict against homeschoolers, they would find every excuse imaginable to stall you, make you pay fees, add some bullshit exams here and there, make you go through random "audits". If and when the homeschool movement reaches critical mass, expect those requirements to come back
The anti-homeschool side has lost a lot of court battles since then. It varies by state, however.
They're not even anti homeschool, they're pro government. If homeschool rates go up, there goes the shitty teachers and the taxes to pay for those brand new buildings. Hence, the anti homeschool crowd is just protecting their own graft
I'm sure that's it for a lot of them, maybe the majority, but some of them also realize that without kike indoctrination at public schools, the next generation will be much smarter and will consider them enemies. Being pro-public school/anti-homeschool is a matter of survival for these freaks.
