Yes, true, but the point of calculus is not just to give you a tool to solve a problem
It is to actually measure who is capable of abstract thought and formal modeling
formal modeling of reality is hard and you really wish people in charge to know what they are doing
So, USA will not have the people able to predict the consequences of choices, because.... the school has not weed them out (the useless ones)
Seems like something that is happening now, already
