Not being able to see a person's entire face because it is covered is a legitimate reason to fear someone. It is unsettling and uncomfortable to not be able to see a person's facial expressions when they are talking to you especially when they make eye contact.

This is also part of why many people do not like masks but don't really know why (outside of more difficulty breathing). It's the unsettling feeling of not being able to nonverbally communicate as well because most of the face is missing.

yeh I felt that while shopping, I realised there are a lot of social things you do, like smiling when someone holds a door, that are now just invisible to the other person, now it feels like you are just staring at everyone
