Now this is irony. When you say something is ironic, people will jump on you and say, "No, it not ironic, it's sarcastic." But this is true irony. People standing in line to have their vax pass checked before going into a theater to watch a movie about freeing your mind.
Original movie was about freeing mind. This new one is about filling mind with communist woke bullshit wrapped in shiny, colorful picture.
So, line of NPCs stripped of individuality is exactly what this movie wants to achieve.
You know, in the original matrix trilogy. They never defeated the machines. It’s pretty obvious. So neo has the powers to break the rules because it’s not real right? Then he’s in the “real world” in the next movie and the next movie and he somehow still has the powers? Nah. The matrix had levels. The machines never lost
I watched analysis of original movie and there was many different theories like Agent Smith is a human, Zion is just another level of matrix, Morpheus is a program, ect.
But, yeah, machines did not lose. It was like peace treaty between them and humans.
Is that what’s it about. I was gonna watch it but I’m just assuming it’s woke bullshit. That’s what movies are these days. Every once in a while a good one will sneak by but typically they buy a big title. Remake or redo it. Add bullshit. Call it a job. Like Star Wars. Atrocious. That’s the norm now. Nobody will buy our bullshit so well infect what they already like and try to sneak it in that way. Cunts.
Sadly that is the point of modern entertainment. One can argue that it was the same all way along, but in the past they at least tried to cover their agenda, make it less recognizable. Now it is straight in your face type of bullshit.
And total absence of new ideas is kind of depressing and frightening. Is it really the end of the road for this civilization.
