True story -- when I was in my late 20s, I went out to dinner with a colleague from work. Her boyfriend was deployed to Germany at the time. Many drinks later, she was CLEARLY interested in hooking up because she was lonely and hadn't had a man in awhile. As I walked her back to her apartment, I made the decision to NOT ask her if I could come in because I had tons and tons of guilt about being "that guy" to the girlfriend of someone who made the personal sacrifice to defend my country. (I believe they call them "Jody's"). Still don't regret that decision to this day, as they are now happily married with kids (as am I). I know, I know...cool story bro.
