Transport for London (TfL) has unveiled a special tube map to celebrate the contribution of prominent black people over the past 2,000 years.
For Black History Month, the map will replace station names with 272 notable black people and organizations linked to the capital.
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan told the BBC, “This reimagination of the iconic tube map celebrates the enormous contribution black people have made, and continue to make, to the success of our city.”
The mayor added he was “determined to create a more equal city where black lives truly matter,” and claimed the map was an important part of educating people.
