It's hard, realizing that almost all of your friends and family are completely incapable of independent thought.
It's harder still realizing that they are actually intelligent, and are still so easily manipulated.
But the hardest thing is understanding that you have to be strong, and do the right thing, while they all call you a fool and claim you're being manipulated, claim that you cannot trust your own eyes, claim that you must trust people in authority, people that you have never met.
It's really hard, but if you strengthen your resolve, it will get easier.
I feel the same way and you worded it perfectly.
It's harder still realizing that they are actually intelligent, and are still so easily manipulated.
That entire sentence is an oxymoron.
Intelligence is so very, very different from wisdom
Yes, which is why I take wise people far more seriously than people who can read shit from a book but not have any real world experience that they can use that knowledge with.
It's not difficult if you realise they aren't your friends and ignore their gaslighting horseshit.
You should write more.
I wrote one 5th of a script for a movie today but then I ran out of whiteclaws and took a nap instead of finishing it
Is a whiteclaw a Bearclaw with cocaine on it?
That's true. But it also brings action plan into focus. Whatever happens in the coming months the mass media command and control layer needs to be destroyed. Unplug them. Plug them in to something better.
Plug them in to something better.
We need to create culture of our own. And spread it.
Music, movies, video games, board games, books, shows, whatever.
