You want automation. Humans shouldn't be slaves packed in to production plants. They should be self sufficient first and entrepreneurial second, using leisure time to innovate. Back during the beginnings of the Industrial Revolution, when many of the agrarian peoples across the US were being coaxed in to industrial plants and packed in like sardines to do monotonous work, they got bothered and coined the term "wage slavery". Few of them enjoyed it. Even the kids worked.
Somehow, you all developed amnesia along the way or something and now everyone pursues this life like rats running a maze for cheese every day. How is this all you people aspire to? How do you not desire more leisure time?
Decide if you would rather get locked in a box and forced to work Black Mirror style or if you'd rather have a golden age of leisure that inspires innovation and prosperity. You can't do the latter without automation and not being able to see that makes you look like a fool.
