The propaganda is effective too. Metro Melbourne (where most of my colleagues live) just went into further extended lockdown (Extended again for another week). And they were bitching that if we just got vaccinated it would all be over. These people are not stupid (pretty much all programmers), but they have bought the fucking propaganda hook line and sinker. Try to tell them that the vaxx is not as safe or effective as they have been lead to believe and they just reply with "riiiiiight!", like I fucking told them the moon was made of custard. Fuck me we are headed for a damn catastrophe here!
