Hello lovelies.

Hello lovelies.

Every cop needs to understand that they are one misheard word away from losing their career and pension.

That every day they put on their uniform could be the day that a nigger ODs in front of them, and they spend the rest of their life in prison for murder.

Their superiors won't defend or protect them, but will instead demonise them. Their fellow officers won't have the ability or means to help them in any way.

No matter what you think of cops right now, they are hopefully just one more Chauvin away from becoming our allies.

Of course that's true of average people when talking to the cops. Maybe we should lower the stakes a bit for both sides when dealing with minor issues like drug possession. Maybe those kinds of stakes should only be applied to very serious things like murder. Maybe its better if cops and citizens interacted less and thus faced less risk associated with these interactions.

But then how will the state seize ever more control goy?

We have laws and we have punishments. Many people think that the only reason we have punishments is to make people suffer after they break the law. But that is not true.

The main reason we have punishments is to prevent people (to deter them) from breaking the law in the first place.

Drug laws are a great example. - The punishments don't match the crime. - If they did, then people would be deterred from breaking those laws in the first place.

Also, the odds of getting caught are another factor. - If the chance of receiving the punishment is low, then the punishment no longer works as a deterrent.

The harsher the punishments, and the higher the likelyhood of getting caught, those are the only things that will prevent your dreaded "interactions".

Once the punishments match the crime, and the likelyhood of being caught and convicted is high enough to deter criminals, then there will be no more crime. Because only then will the criminals be deterred from committing crimes in the first place.
