Aged but that Tesla semi is sounding better and better to me. With the acceleration, handling mountain grades, and not burning up brakes. I don't know though. I guess we'll see how it actually works out when it's released to the public.

My hybrid gets ~50 mpg and it's fucking awesome.

Thats what makes those more practical than electric right now. You have to own a home or have a dedicated parking space with charger to keep refueling batteries to avoid the inevitable 1 hour to 75% charge

Yeah, Lithium mining is still highly destructive. Regardless, lots of copper is needed for an electric car as well, motors and battery conductors are all copper wound.

In fairness, gas cars are full of copper too. Starter motors and alternators all need copper windings.
