I gotta get her back to being the prettiest boat in this part of the marina again! I got some serious competition with the guy a couple slips over, but he cheats and hires out to have all his brightwork done. It looks great, I should maybe call his guys... but godammit, a REAL sailor does his own paint and brightwork!
Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit, nigga, one of the first things I did was get rid of the guardrail stanchions and lifelines. Looks much better, and less upkeep. A real sailor won't fall overboard..
The guy I sold it to was a pilot, and didn't even notice they were missing, lol..
But my stanchions are cool and GREEN! The lifelines are all horrible, though. They might have still been okay if the previous owner hadn't got these coated ones. The coating just holds moisture and makes them prematurely rust! Stainless stops being stainless in an anaerobic environment, like inside of a coating like this!
I love when boomers put various pieces of old garden hose around them, and braggin bout how much money they saved...NIGGER, IT LOOKS GHETTO AS FUCK!
