Lets see, you let students w low scores in because of fairness and racisms and stuff and when those students continue to perform in the lower ranks you are surprised.
These students were placed in a bad position. They were forced into a situation they weren't capable of handling well. They were never going to be able to handle the work load. They were destined for those low grades. They should have never been there to begin with.
Ironic. The school drums it into staff that all races are equal. Then forces affirmative action on its student body. A bewildered professor mentions that blacks don't do well and then is fired for pointing that fact out. What the professor did wrong was post her thoughts where the school could get called out on the reality. She should have come here instead.
The Purge is on, just like in Germany before WW2. You or I could be next. Stand up for what is right and let the chips fall where they may. This crap will never stop unless we all take a stand against this crap.
The professor she was speaking to has been forced to resign for listening. He didn't share any observations about black students – only listened – and now his career is canceled, too.
I hate to say this. I end up having this angst every semester that a lot of my lower ones are Blacks. Happens almost every semester. And it’s like, ‘Oh, come on.’ You get some really good ones, but there are also usually some that are just plain at the bottom. It drives me crazy.
Most were forced into college by family or social pressure. A lot of these low performing students would be better off in a trade school where they can learn a job skill. Many of these trade school grads earn more than most CG graduates but in trades in requires real work and some may not like that
