That is a mistranslation lie that has perpetrated since Victorian times. Greeks have multiple "types" of love. When they were translating and it said "loved" boys is was the love of an uncle or brother. I'm sure there was abunch of bumfuckery just like all over the ancient world but the modern idea of the Greeks is completely wrong.
