Balogna is a bit unfairly maligned. It's good when you fry it up first. Practically everything is improved with a little pan-frying, though.
Except for nougat. And beer. So, I guess a bunch of things but not necessarily "practically everything"... But still.
What exactly is nougat? Im sure i could research it myself but i have to assume you are the leading authority on the matter.
Basically, in a nutshell, it's frothed up sugar syrup glop, with nuts and sometimes maybe other things like dried fruits tossed in. The real thing can be really good, and the giant corporate candy machine makes a mockery of it. The latter is whence the lord of the nougat was created, but that is a fucking retarded and weird and convoluted story for another time! Or another thread... I'm sure it's around here somewhere!

This nougat lord is frying in beer right this very second and it feels SO MUCH better in my brain now! If you ever happen upon , I do recommend it. It's best at the brewery, of course, but I'm never on that side of town anymore.
If I come across it I'll try it I prefer Belgian ales not a huge iPa fan. I like Chimay cinque cent
