Texas has had colder snaps before. In 1930 and 1940 Houston had 5 degree days.
I live in the Pacific Northwest. Back in the late 80's we had several years with temperatures around -20F in the winter and +100F summers. The same thing happened here in the late 50's to mid 60's when I was a kid. These changes are caused from sun activity, but the "science" morons today just don't get it.
Yeah long and short term solar cycles. They get it. They just baffle the plebs with bullshit and use environmental extremism as just another avenue of control to run grifts against normal people through. Any of the politicized science fields are filled with 90% charlatans who would just as readily spend their time trying to transmute lead into gold if they were pointed in that direction.
Even the solar cycles are largely different. The one in the 50-60's was exacerbated from massive solar flares that annihilated TV and radio signals and would last for months.
