Not destopian at all. FFS in my whole life I've taken two "selfies" aka was in a group picture taken by the front cam, non of them werevoluntarily. I wonder how they will enforce this on muslims (muslims forced to do anything at all in the UK heheeh) will they force them to make their women take off the garbage bag? What about people with no phone or internet (old people?) Is it ok if I take my selfie in the house of the "visiting" officer right next to his sleeping kid at 3 a.m?
