I've read several articles about this. Yeah, they're half off, but electric cars do NOT react well to abuse. On average, those 20k cars require over 10k or more in work. In many cases, the batteries themselves are fucked.

They were driven like a rental car. I beat on every rental car like I stole it in my younger years. I won't be standing in line for one - but a 4-year bumper-to-bumper warranty might improve their sales.

ALMOST didn't buy my truck for that exact reason. But, my specific truck model is a solid beast, even if it might have gotten knocked around.

Was it a utility truck, by chance?

Know a guy that bought one and wow. Thing has some beefy parts on it. Tons of miles, decade plus later, still hasn't need to swap out the rotors, things like that.

Good point. I know an electrician that would install a (OUTDOOR) charging port for cheap for me but the power station itself would cost a bit too.
