The problem of sudden temperature spikes in either direction is no one actually understands why. So we may think we're good now with sudden temperature drops. The problem being that at some point, there will be a sudden temperature rise. Then chicken little will start screaming global warming again.

Exactly. The model is so complex with so many variables, it’s impossible to nail down a root cause…most plausibly because there isn’t one. Maybe a sun flare. Maybe a magnetic core fluctuation. Maybe an atmospheric pressure imbalance. Maybe all of them at the same time. Or maybe a cyclical domino effect with one causing ripples in another.
They changed the buzz words from 'global warming' to 'climate change' for a reason.
It's almost as if it is a massive extremely complex system that we don't really understand well and continue to make predictions that end up wrong while we scream that the entire world is going to die.
Maybe tone it down a little bit and get back to the research.
lol. Obviously it's because global warming is causing the ice caps to melt which in turn is causing the oceans to cool. Too many polar ice cap cubes floating around.

Things like ice ages don’t count. And neither do dust bowls. Or sand storms. Or the former abundance of the Nile delta. Or the former green state of Greenland.
Tell me how the climate has changed in the past without using examples of climate change...
