Hilarious. Someone forgot that Mother Nature has temper tantrums, and that baseballs and windows go together like glass and hail.
Uploaded it to vid8 for the lulz. https://vid8.poal.co/user/stultusavem/CNlLCDO

I looked into getting a home solar system installed. A single battery was $10k with a 10 year warranty.
Knowing that the battery would actually store 80% of the advertised capacity at best and that it would degrade exponentially to the point of something like 50% (30% actual) capacity by the 10 year mark, I noped the hell out of that deal.
Then there are other risks involved..
As much as I believe solar technology has potential if you are in the right region, battery storage needs a lot of improvements for it to be a wise investment.
I'd love to be able to disconnect from the grid and buy a car like the aptera, but is all just basically a proof of concept at this point.
It's ok, there's plenty more taxpayer debt that'll pay to replace them all, again and again....
Yeah. I'd put solar up just to run my AC. Solar power generation has a ways to go.
