One other example: There have been more fatalities in just one city in a single year from lithium-ion batteries in cars than all the people who died from the 1979 Three Mile Island nuclear plant accident—which was zero.

Yet, after the accident, thanks to the environmentalists’ fear campaign (with the help of the blockbuster anti-nuke movie “The China Syndrome”), no domestic nuclear plants were built for three decades. That is despite the fact that nuclear plants emit no greenhouse gases.

Also, I heard that the NYC CBS station covered the multitude of fires and how FDNY is unable to put them out. One talking head suggested we might want to reconsider adopting them so fast until a solution is found. I tried to find video of it but couldn't.

A Tesla was wrecked in Europe, Austria I believe, and the fire department came out with a dumpster full of water and picked the vehicle up and put it in the dumpster. Last I read about it, the dumpster was on the guys front lawn and he couldn't do anything with it as no one was willing to take the vehicle. The story has probably been memory holed by now...oh, maybe it wasn't Austria?

Weeks after Hurricane Ian hit Florida, electric golf carts were repeatedly and the fire departments couldn't easily put them out.
