It was first pointed out as high levels correlating with warming climates in the past - though later analysis seems to show it lagging behind the climate by a couple hundred years.

I tend to believe that it causes warming, though likely to a smaller extent than claimed and that even if warming occurred it wouldn't be quite as disastrous as portrayed. On top of that, even if you believe their models, those models show a logarithmic curve to the effect; additional CO2 causes limited additional warming. You'd have to pretty much eliminate combustion entirely to stop the warming.

as far as I know...(which is not much) when a co2 molecule unite with a H2O molecule the heat dissipates...
