Climate alarmist are no different to the people from generations ago who would stand on the street corner wearing sign boards that read "The end of the world is nigh".

Imagine, if you will. It's 20 years from now - The Space Year 2001. The ice caps have melted. It's 90F in December, with highs expected over 100F in January. Joo York City is under 110 feet of water. Tour boats powered by some unnamed energy source take tourists through the crumbling forest of building tops. AND IT WILL HAPPEN IF WE DON'T CHANGE THINGS!

Yeah, fuck off Mrs. Peddicord, you're just shill for the system. It was so friggin cold this morning that I had to manually push one car out of the way because the battery died. (Admittedly my own fault because I waited too long.)

Key there: "No climate emergency."

Climate change is definitely happening. We are coming out of the Holocene Ice Age. Polar Ice Caps are melting. We've had many ice ages. Whether (or weather, hyuck hyuck) or not that is an emergency is what is being debated. It's not an emergency.
