There are two sides to the carbon dioxide issue.

On the one hand, it is harmless. It is not causing global temperatures to rise. Computer models do not correspond with real-world conditions.

On the other hand, we need much more of it in our air. The extra carbon dioxide being emitted by the coal-fired electrical plants in China and India is causing world food crops to have greater harvest yields.

You seldom hear scientists advocating more CO2 production, because the brainless propaganda put out by the left is so ubiquitous. But they should be doing so. More CO2 emissions equals larger, more hardy crops. This is not speculation, this is statistical fact.

Plants absorb atmospheric CO2 through small portals called stoma. The more CO2 there is in the atmosphere the fewer stomata a plant needs. And since these stomata are the point of primary moisture loss plants are becoming heartier and better able to survive dry climates. As we sit here the edges of arid areas are seeing a creeping intrusion of foliage.

Almost every single documentary you will ever see about deep time accidentally details it.
