What is it with people that can't stand to leave a blighted area? I left a city I lived in for 18 years when the governor went crazy tyrannizing his denizens after 2020. My neighborhood started literally showing signs for BLM, rainbow flags, stop Asian hate, love is love, everyone is welcome and every virtue signaling you can possibly do. Now mind you, there was no weather damage to speak of, the town is relatively healthy, but I saw the warning signs that my kind are no longer welcome there. I left.
