Tattoos are one of those things that we have been trained to accept, but they actually have deep effects on people's brains.

Deviance (Deviating from cultural mores [pronounced more-ae, meaning social customs or norms]) can have lasting effects on someone, and make it difficult to grow past that point in their life. Secondary Deviance is when a deviant behavior is noticed, and the deviant internalizes the behavior and makes it a part of their personality. Tattoo's are permanent and that really plays into the mind games that they play on people.

Now does having a tattoo make you a bad person? No! Is deviance bad? Not necessarily! But understanding the sociological and psychological (lol I use that word very loosely, is it even real science?) impacts of these choices are important to understand.

Also something something tattoos and STD rates, so watch out for the wild ones bois.
