Wrong.
God didn’t do the experiment for His own sake. This is the proof to show all of creation, both natural and supernatural, how man is fully and solely the master of his own misery, sin and suffering.
God knew the outcome. He didn’t have to perform the experiment. He also didn’t have to make the universe. He could have folded the whole thing up after the Fall in Eden. He does what He does for His own pleasure and purposes.
Eden - Man has no “sin nature” - Man has an external tempter - Result: Fell to temptation- Fail
Pre-Abraham - Man has “sin nature” - All men equal - Result: Nephilim and Babel - Fail
Pre-Moses - Man has “sin nature” - Blessed line of people - Result: Blessed people disobeyed - Fail
Moses to Christ - Man has “sin nature” - Law given to point out specific sins to avoid - Result: Not only failed to follow the Law, but added their own new rules to the Law - Fail
Christ’s Sacrifice to start of Millennium - Man has “sin nature” - Christ dies for sins and offers simple “faith alone” salvation - Result: Man can’t surrender to Christ - Fail
Millennium - Man has “sin nature” - Satan is bound, so no external temptation, Christ on physical throne of Earth, full evidence, so just accept His Reign and submit - Result: Satan released, millions join rebellion with Satan against Christ - Fail
In all circumstances, it doesn’t matter how ideal, man fails. There are those who accept, but many who don’t.
What is the value of an experiment that keeps ending in failure? If man always has a "sin nature" and never learns from the previous outcomes, then it's not an experiment but instead an exercise in futility. Ultimately it seems the experiment is the cause of the failure.
About 20% of the population is incapable of comprehending hypotheticals. Some people need concrete examples of FAFO to learn.

again, omnipotence. God would know the outcome of who will and won't change their ways. Knowing the outcome ahead of time makes it something different than an experiment.
